Summer learning journey Day 5 Activity 3

Hello bloggers,
Today I will talk about my life in 2018 ( before NZ sinks to the bottom of the ocean). I will show this to people that have never been to NZ. ( I am just pretending that NZ will sink to the bottom of the ocean).

2018 has been a really successful year in NZ. My mind has been blown away because 2018 was one of the best years of my life and It always will. There have been a lot of change in my life. NZ is a peaceful place where deadly animals don't wish to go.  Whenever it is sunset it is always a beautiful landscape. Not much drama happens in NZ. There are so many places to explore.  I wish you the best of luck for your future country.

  1. Hi Vitaraag,

It's me Gargee - your sister of course. I really liked how you included that NZ was amazing in 2018, because for me it sure was. I have also written stuff about nature in NZ, and how it is just so beautiful here. Some feedback that you can take is maybe next time describe what has changed in you and why NZ was so good in 2018. Btw, I am from Nepal. (you already know)

    Happy blogging

  2. Kia ora Vitaraag,

My name is Rachel and I am working with Megan and Cia on the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. Today I have the chance to read the posts from Hay Park school and I see that both you and your sister are actively blogging with us. It's wonderful! We really hope that you are enjoying the experience as much as we are.

From the post above, it sounds like you have had a really great year. What happened this year that was so special? I'd love to hear about it! I'd also love to know which places you like to explore in New Zealand. Are there any specific places that you like going most? I was born and raised in the middle of Canada, in a province called Ontario. It gets very cold in the middle of winter in Canada, much like Nepal, I suspect. Every once in awhile I really miss the cold winters and the chance to go ice skating, skiing and tobogganing. Have you ever tried skating or skiing?

I hope that you and your entire family have a really lovely holiday and a very happy and healthy new year. I'll look forward to reading through all of your blog posts over the coming weeks and to learning more about New Zealand (and the rest of the world!) with you as we go.

    All the best,
    Rachel :)
