 today I am back to tell you wither I want bullfighting banned or not
First of all bullfighting happens in the capital city of Japan.In Japan 30% of them want bullfighting banned.As for me I want bullfighting banned.One reason is that we should leave bulls in peace and let them do there own thing.The second thing is that if Spain keeps on doing bullfight then bulls will soon come extinct.

Orienteering with Leon and Irene

 today I am go to tell you what happened in the second to last session in orienteering. Today we had buddy's but we went one by one.That means that we had to go by our self .But today we had two coaches we had Leon and we had a guest named Irene.She was timing us.Today's orienteering was a bit different.There were four maps and there was four controls on the map.We had to clip card to.We had our clip card numbered up to 16.Each buddy had to find the controls and clip them on the clip card.My buddy was Andrew.Me and Andrew came fifth place.The people who came first was Tyrone and Nathaniel.Leon said that

Hello bloggers today I am doing a continuation for my Summer learning journey.Today I am going to show you three facts about Canada (our chosen country) The first one is that Canada has over 30000 lakes so that means there is a lot of sea creatures like fish.Another one is that in Canada can be so cold in winter that it can drop below -40 Celsius.

The last fact is that Canada national sport is ice hockey.They were the Olympic winners in 1988.The name of the teams were Chicago Black Hawks , Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadians, New York rangers and Boston Bruins.

Hello bloggers today I am going to tell you about what country I want to go to a why I want to go there.I would want to go to Canada because I have never been there before and I want to learn french because in Canada they speak French and English.

Another reason why I want to go to Canada is that the temperature changes so It could be really hot or really cold.The last reason why I want to go to Canada is because it is the second largest country by total area.

Orienteering with Leon

Hello bloggers today I am am going  to talk about orienteering.
The first thing that you need to know is about Leon.Leon is a man who techies us orienteering.He keeps getting the challenges harder and harder.Today the controls were very small last week the controls were very tall.In my opinion it is easy to find the controls because our school is so small.But sometimes the controls are hard to find because we can pick the wrong control.For some reason I think the controls were easier to find in this lesson.I think they are easier to find because I have had more practise. I hope in the next lesson we will do real orienteering.

Hello bloggers today I am going to talk about the Korean dosirak lunches.

On Wednesday (yesterday) we were given dosirak lunches from Korea.The classes that got to get the lunches were Hansen class, Pohatu class, Henderson class and Williams class.In the pack we  got seaweed,rice balls,chicken and soy milk. I got to try all of it but my most favorite is the chicken and seaweed.I hope I can go to Korea one day.

This week I have been using a range of language features to help make my writing more descriptive. Some language features we have been talking about are similes, metaphors, personification and onomatopoeia.

This is one of my favourite sentences from my writing this week The breeze blew on my back as the radiation from the sun was shining bright on my glimmering skin. I would love some feedback.Bye!!

Skateboarding

Today we had our 2 final skateboarding sessions.We had a lot of fun and learned a few more tricks.I learned how to do the tic tac the tic tac is when you move the board to the side to turn.. We had 2 sessions.At the last session we went up one ramp.At first I was like no I can't do this.But the last time I was so so good.Our coaches were Aiden and Martin from Auckland sport.People kept on holding me but then I was resilient.My opinion for skateboarding is phenomenal.The only part that I didn't like today was we had to do skateboarding in the hall because outside was wet.When we were packing up the gear I realized that I forgot  how to put away the gear.But then some boys helped me.BYE!!!

Pohatu class botanists

Today we were planting some plants.There was a hard soil tablet and some other things.At first the soil was dehydrated.We had to pour water on the  soil so it was hydrated.As we poured the water on the tablet it absorbed all the water very slowly and soon it rose high.We had to measure 2 cm from the top.As I told you we had to hydrate the tablet by pouring water on it.It had expand so it could fit in the top. It had absorb all the water. We had to squeeze all the water out before placing it in the pot.I had also rise.As we squeezed the liquid out it was a bit chunky. We measured the water to 50 milliliters.Soon I hope our plants sprout.The soil mixture was very dirty.

Zoo trip

Today I went to the Zoo!The most favorite time at the Zoo is looking at new animals.I have already went to the Zoo but we saw some new habitats.But one thing that I hate about going to the Zoo is walking.At the Zoo my feet were aching.We saw tigers,lions etc.The focus on today was animals that  are endemic to New Zealand.We went to the  Africa section and New Zealand's.The most favorite animal I saw was the giraffe.The most exciting  animal I was waiting for was the talisman devil.At the end we ate lunch.After that we went in the bus and went back into school.When we went back to school I was writing this blog post.I also want to thank Ritchies buses and the warehouse for letting us go in the Zoo for free

One thing that was challenging was isolating.
I think Kate should come back because we can have really good dancers and teach other people .

Teaching the juniors in Bishop class

Ola bloggers and welcome back to week two!

Today my class and I worked alongside Bishop class (Year 2/3) as part of a Tuakana/Teina session.

Tuakana means older brother or older sister and Teina means younger brother or younger sister.Today my buddy from my class was called Nathaniel.The people I was teaching were called Gabriela and tatkiti

First we discussed how to be effective Tuakana. I learned that I have to encourage them so then they talk and discuss it.

The biggest challenge I came across was communicating because they were shy and they were confused.

Next week I am looking forward to seeing the juniors being an expert at stop motion animation and looking if they have improved their skill.

Bonjour and welcome to my blog post.

Today I was learning to be resilient with Bernard .Bernard is a man with an extreme life he explained  how he became resilient. One way to be resilient is to rise each time you fall.Bernard 's dad was in the army for twenty years.

He also climbed  the tallest mountain in Africa. Bernard's great great grandma was a hero.She was a hero because back in the 1800's woman couldn't go in the parliament.

Starting term two with a roll

Hello and welcome back to term two.

I learned how to ride a skateboard.The skateboards that we were using were called penny skateboard.

We had to put on elbow pads,knee pads,wrist guards,closed shoes and helmet.

The skills that we learned were use your right hand as a steering wheel and to put your heel at the right angle.

Then we had to pack up.

To pack it up we took our helmet off and put it on the ground like a bowl.

next you have to take off your wrist guards and strap them together with Velcro.

After that do the same with the elbow pads.

When that is done we take off your knee pads and put one on the ground and put the other on top.

Once we are done put your elbow pads on your knee pads.

Now when we are done we take the long straps and then wrap it around the whole thing.

Finally you check if you did it right by asking Aiden our instructor.
