Summer learning Journey Activity Two Day 3

Hello bloggers,
Today I will tell you why I want to be a Doc Ranger. But first here are some facts to include. The chevron Sink lizard are only found on two islands, Great Barrier island and Little Barrier island.

A Doc ranger is a person who goes to island and protects wildlife. They also study the animals there. Sometimes they stay there overnight.

I want to be a Doc ranger because it is fascinating to watch animals scatter. I also want to be one because you get to see a rare species of lizards. We can protect the wildlife at the island so animal life does not drop.

I also don't want to be a Doc ranger because there can be a dangerous things at the island. We might fall in the water by accident and we might drown if we don't know how to swim.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Please give me feedback on my work. Do you want to be a Doc Ranger? Comment it. BYE!!

  1. Kia Orana Vitaraag,

You have written a nice little introduction and even included some facts for your readers, ka pai!

I like the fact that you have expressed why you would and wouldn't want to be DOC Ranger and included you pros and cons in each sentence. Maybe next time you could organise your pros and cons into bullet pointed lists to make it easier for your readers to see.

It's perfectly fine to have conflicting thoughts about decisions you have to make. I am curious though, all in all after considering the pros and cons, would you want to be a DOC Ranger or not?

I wouldn't want to be a DOC Ranger because it just isn't my passion in life. This doesn't mean I don't care for the survival and conservation of animals, because I can always help in lots of different ways. Could you think of a different way you could help?

Keep up the good work and enjoy the sunshine.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.
