Today we are going to talk about over fishing. Over fishing means you fish so much you don't have enough to replace. Then the place you fished will be private and if your caught fishing in that area you have to pay a fine of 100,000. Today I am gong to tell you why I think it is okay to be paid 100,000 for going over fishing or if it not okay.
I think that is is right to be paid 100,000 because earth treats us right so we should treat it right by not destroying it. It is right also because the ocean is going to be destroyed if no animals are in it. I actually think that if it is restricted not even private people can do stuff there. Earth is protecting us so we should protect it.

ReplyDeleteYou have provided your opinion on the matter of overfishing here in Aotearoa, ka pai. Perhaps next time you could talk a bit about how the hefty fine would help stop overfishing in restricted areas. Do you think a fine will be enough to stop overfishing?
In my opinion I think it's fair to get a fine. Overfishing is a serious problem, a lot life depends on having fish in our waters, so whether it is private or commercial fishing the rules should still stand.
Hopefully overfishing comes to a halt as soon as possible, I don't want to see what it'd be like if there were no more fish in our oceans, rivers or lakes...
