Summer Learning Journey Activity One Day 2

Hello bloggers,
In this blog post I will explain why I want to go to and visit Tāne Mahuta (the largest endemic tree in NZ).

I want to go visit Tāne Mahuta because it is the largest endemic tree in NZ and it is a cool experience that you might only get to see once. I also want to see it because I want to see how big it is and compare it to other trees in NZ. I want to see it in person because in images it doesn't show the patterns on the tree.

Thanks for coming to my blog. Please give me feedback on my work. Remember to check my blog once a day. Would you want to visit Tāne Mahuta? Comment it. BYE!!

  1. Fakalofa lahi atu Vitaraag,

You have given a clear view point and reason why you would want to visit Tāne Mahuta. I like how enthusiastic you are about seeing this wonder of Aotearoa up close and personal. You mentioned wanting to see the patterns on the tree, if you do happen to go maybe you should take a close up picture of the patterns on the trunk.

Perhaps next time you could include a little background information about Kauri trees. For example, how long does it take for a Kauri tree to fully grow? Let me know in the comment section if you know the answer.

One day I would like to visit Tāne Mahuta so I can see the gigantic and mighty tree up close. It has grown to be so tall and magnificent I’d love to see it in person as a picture just wouldn’t do it much justice.

Keep up the good work Vitaraag, I hope your holidays are coming along well.

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.
