Summer learning Journey Activity 1 Day 4

Hello bloggers,
Mt Everest is the tallest mountain in the world. The first to climb it was Edmund Hillary. He climbed it in 1953. Today I will discuss 5 questions I would ask Edmund Hillary.

I would ask how long did it take you to reach the top of Mt Everest? I would ask this question because I want to climb it myself. How old were you when you climbed Mt Everest? Why did you climb Mt Everest? How long did it take you to pack? What inspired you to climb Mt Everest?

Thank you for coming to my blog. Please give me feedback. Do you want to climb Mt Everest? Comment it. BYE!!

  1. Bonjour Vitaraag,

I like that you have shown a lot of curiosity toward Sir Edmund Hillary and his achievements.

You have asked a lot of questions that you could probably research and find out yourself. Perhaps next time you could think about some questions that only Sir Edmund Hillary could answer.

Two questions I would probably ask are; ‘How far up Mt Everest were you when you felt the air getting noticeably thinner?’ and ‘ Did you see anyone who had frozen to death on the climb?’. I bet the mental struggle was almost as tough as the physical climb, I can’t imagine trying to climb in that environment, could you? Would you?

    Keep up the good work.

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.
