Summer Learning Journey Activity One Day 3

Hello bloggers,
Today I wanted to talk to you about a book called Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them. The author of that book was J.K. Rowling. You should go and check it out. In this blog post I will describe to you a wild beast that I made up.

My beast has scales like no other. It's scales are as slimy as superglue. His Teeth are as sharp as tungsten needles. It can breath underwater for as long as 50 minutes. His skin can adapt to the environment and camouflage. One bite from this deadly creature can be lethal.

Thank you for coming to my blog. Please give me feedback. What is your beast? Comment it. BYE!!

  2. Aloha Vitaraag,

You have created a great little description of your beast. I like that there's detail about its abilities included in your post, the beast sounds pretty intimidating and indeed lethal with those needle teeth! Does your creature maybe excrete a deadly venom from those teeth?

Perhaps next time you could add a few more finer details to what you have. For example, your beast's looks and abilities are described but not much at all about the body shape, colour, smell or sound it makes can be found. Does your beast have a voice? Does it roar?

I love the movie Fantastic Beasts, have you seen it? One of my favourite creatures from the film was Newt's Bowtruckle, I just thought its tiny green twig like body, leafy head and little brown eyes were really cute!

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.
