Summer Learning Journey Activity 2 Day 1 Week 3

Hello bloggers,
Today we are going to talk about being sun smart. I am going tell you what you should do to not get skin cancer.

You should wear a bowl hat because that protects your whole face. You shouldn't wear a cap because that only protects the front of your face. Put on lots of sunscreen so you don't get sunburn. Put on sunglasses because you need to protect your eyes of the UV rays. You should go under umbrella so that will block most of the sun away. Don't go in the sun for to long without any protection.

Thank you for coming to my blog. Please give me feedback. BYE!!

  1. Hey Vitaraag,

My name is Araura and I am from Wesley Primary school, Whitch you probably already know this.

First of all congratulations on the amazing Post.

I would agree on all of your statement's.
I mainly agree on the one that says we can sit under an umbrella I think that is the best one because if we sit under the umbrella our skin won't be burnt by the sun.

I also like the one where you say we should put on lots of sunscreen. Lots of sunscreen can protect us from the sun.

I would have been great if you could have added a few pictures but it is still good.

Anyways keep up the amazing work.

    Blog you later bye.

  2. Hi Vitaraag,

It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team.

You've made very good suggestions as to how to avoid getting too much sun in the summer. Hats, sunscreen, umbrellas and sunglasses are all excellent things to use.

I don't care for being in the sun, myself. Our summers can be extremely hot, up to 40 C, so I've learned to walk my dog early in the morning and late in the evening to avoid the sun. Our poor dog practically melts when we have to go out on a hot day....

Do you like the summer heat? Do you play sport of any kind in the summer? Or do you prefer to be at a beach swimming?

I hope that you and your family are having a lovely summer! And I hope you're enjoying these activities.

I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog.

    Cheers,

    Leslie
