Summer Learning Journey Week 3 Day 2 Activity

Hello bloggers,
Scientists have change the world. In fact, they changed it so much that if they didn't exist then I wouldn't be writing this. Basicially everything you do has got to do with science. I don't know why, but I really enjoy science. Some scientists have made a big different in the world. For example you have Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton and much more. A person named Alfred Nobel invented this thing called the Nobel Prize. So it is basicially where you get a coin that has Alfred Nobel on it and you recive 1.1 million US dollars. That is so much money. So they have different ones like on for peace, one for physics and lots more. So if you make a big impact on the world you might get it. So I was asked to inspect a picture (It is the picture below) and notice something.

So I noticed that  this picture is a mirror image. The only difference is that they are different colours. They are white and black. I also noticed that it must of took a long time because it was made by just paintng line. A singular line at a time. The last thing I saw was that the birds at the top were in the wrong side. So the black ones were in th white space and the white ones were in the black space.

I hope you enjoyed my blog post. If you have any feedback please leave it in the comments. What did you notice about this picture? BYE!!

  1. Kia ora Vitaraag,

How are you going? I hope you're enjoying this warm weather. It makes me want to go to the beach for a swim!

I think it's really awesome how you introduce each of your blogposts and explain what activity you are going to do in your own words. I'm sure your readers appreciate knowing what each of your posts are about!

Those are some great observations that you've made, especially the one about how the birds are on the wrong side of the mirror image.

Something I noticed was how it looks like the birds have flown from a chess board! I really like looking at that part as I would never have thought to do something like that.

Do you have a favourite section of the picture too?

    Keep up the great work!

    Ngā mihi,
    Tayla

  2. Hi Vitaraag,
I liked how you described the painting with lots of detail, I also liked how you said that you noticed that the birds are on the wrong sides, I think that adds to the painting. Something I found interesting about this painting is the contrast between the two sides, one is a dull black, whilst the other is a vibrant white. Which side looks better?
