Actually not only did she finish high school she finished her PHD which means that she is now called Dr Jessa Rogers. She got the NAIDOC award in 2010. So I was asked to calculate the age of her when she won this award. Here is my explanation. Link

Tena Koe Vitaraag,
ReplyDeleteWell done on sharing how your worked out the equation for this activity. I really enjoyed watching your sketchpad video of your working. You made it very easy for people watching to understand how you did and it was also quite clear. I tried working it out just like you did, writing it on paper and got the same answer!
Did you find this activity at all difficult? I was always better at, and preferred writing and reading over maths. Which do you prefer?
Ka kite ano,
Kueni :)
Hi Vitaraag,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you explained your thinking, how you got your answer and gave a visual representation of how you did it. I also liked how you didn't just write your working out down, you drew the process of getting your answer. Did you find the problem easy or hard to answer?
