Summer Learning Journey Week 2 Day 3 Activity 2

Hello bloggers,
Malala Yousafzai is a women who fought to change the womens rights. Back then women weren't allowed to go to school. Before we get on to her why do women get treated unfairly? Leave your answer in the comments. Anyways, she was shot and injured. Peiple mainly believe it happened because Malala and her father disagreed that women shouldn't be able to go to school. She recovered and kept protesting for women. Therfore she won the Nobel prize for peace. She was the person ever to recive this amazing award. She also wrote a children's book called Malala's magic pencil. Here is a story I made.

As the sun set, I gazed upon the orange metalic sky. It was always so luminuis. My eyes slowly shut as a figure appeared. It had fangs the size of a guitar. His eyes were scarlet couloured. Suddenly, I traveled through time outside a hanuted house. Spider webs covered this immense catastrophe. A growl interuppted my descriptions, so I turned around and witnessed a monstrosity. An enormous mutant bat was sprinting towards me. I heart beat out of my chest. I ran as fast as I could. You will be suprised how fast you can run while your life depends on it. The castle was surrounding by thick vegetation. The only way was inside. I ran inside like Usain Bolt. I needed to hide, so I found a bed. Ok, ok, I know that was a bad hidng spot, but it was my only option. I hid under it. By accident I triped on the leg of a table. The table had a vase on it. You can guess what happened. The vase fell over and shattered. It shattered like shiny spiders scuttling away. My life had been ruined. An ominius black shadow appeared. He took me away. My vision was a blur, the last thing I saw were two scarlet coloured eyes looking directly at me. To be continued...

I hope you enjoyed my blog post. If you have any feedback please leave it in the comments. What do you think would happen next in the story? BYE!!

  1. Mālō e lelei Vitaraag, how was your weekend?

Thanks for that very creative short story! I was on the edge of my seat reading it! Your use of descriptive words and similes were amazing. Where did you get your inspiration from?

If you were to make the story end with a happy ending, what would it be?

    Thanks for blogging!
    Eliza :)

  2. Hi Vitaraag,
I liked how you described Malala Yousafzai as someone that fought for more rights for women. I also liked how in your story, you described the sky as metallic and the haunted house as a catastrophe. Do you like writing stories?
