Summer Learning Journey Week 1 Day 4 Actvity 3

Hello bloggers,
Have you heard of shot put champion Dame Valerie Adams? If not, she has won numerable awards for her skills in shotput. She has won the Halberg Award for best sportswoman 7 times in a row! She is a Tongan New Zealander. Tonga is a cluster of 169 islands, surrounded by Samoa, Fiji and Nuie, and it is located in the Pacific Ocean. Here is a small brochure on Tonga and things you should know and have a look at.

    Thank you for completing Week One, Day Four, Activity Three. I really like this activity, as I have not travelled anywhere except from New Zealand and Australia, so it is so cool to learn a bunch of travel tips from many different countries.

    I really enjoyed reading your travel brochure because I would love to visit Tonga myself one day. I really like that the tips you have shared will actually be helpful for people who are visiting Tonga. Have you ever visited Tonga before?

    I can tell that you have put a lot of effort and research into this poster/brochure and it is so awesome to see!

  2. Hi Vitaraag,
    I liked how you said that Vava'u Island is a place perfect for pictures, and I found it interesting that you can swim with the humpback whales that live all around the islands. I also found it interesting that Tonga, like many other pacific countries is very hot all year round. Why do you think it's so hot?
