Summer Learning journey Activity 3 Day 5 Week 4

Hello bloggers,
Sadly the Summer Learning Journey is concluding. For this activity I have to answer these questions.

What is one thing that you learned from participating in the Summer Learning Journey programme this year? I Learned more about what has been happening around the world.

What is one thing that surprised you? Zip lines went through forests.

What is one thing that concerned or upset you? Some of the activities took long but shouldn't of taken that long.

What is one thing that you (or your family) can do, moving forward, to help protect our natural environment? Adopt animals that are endangered.

Thank you for coming to my blog. Please give me feedback. BYE!! I am sorry this blog post was short. BYE!!

  1. Hello Vitaraag,
Hello, I am Gargee (duh, your older sister). I really like how you've clearly stated your answers for the conclusion of the Summer Learning Journey. I really hope that you and me will be able to change our environment. It is quite upsetting that the Summer Learning Journey is over.

    Happy Holidays

  3. Kia ora Vitaraag,

A huge congratulations on completing all 60 activities of this years Summer Learning Journey (SLJ). I am so proud of the effort you have put into your activities. I cannot thank you enough for persevering and putting in as much effort as you could to each activity. When you go back to school in a few weeks, I think you will be surprised at how easy it is to slip back into school work.

I really like this activity where it asks you to reflect on the programme as it helps us understand what you learnt about the programme. What activity did you find the most enjoyable to complete? I would love to share your answer with my team. I think adopting endangered animals is a great idea. I think if I was to adopt an endangered animal, I would adopt a kiwi and let it roam around in the native bush behind our house. This way she would still have the freedom to roam around in a forest but I can keep an eye on her and protect her.

Do remember to head over to other students blogs and comment on their work. I will be following your progress and awarding points to every comment that you make.

Well done on your awesome work this summer, Vitaraag.

    Nga mihi,
    Megan :)

  5. Kia Ora Vitaraag,

Congratulations on completing the Summer Learning Journey programme for 2018-2019. What a huge accomplishment! We hope that you have enjoyed the experience and that you have enjoyed learning all about the world around us - both here in New Zealand and overseas. We have enjoyed reading your posts and watching as you and Gargee have supported and encouraged one another throughout the past month.

We have learned a lot from reading your posts. I know that Megan is really looking forward to coming into Hay Park School in February to celebrate all of the students who participated in the SLJ.

If you'd like to stay active and continue your learning before school starts please consider posting additional comments on the blogs of other SLJ participants. I know that they would love to hear from you!

The blogs for other students can be found here: https://sites.google.com/a/manaiakalani.org/connected-learners-share/sljtwitterfeeds. We have students from across New Zealand participating so please feel free to comment on any/all of their blogs.

    Bye for now!

    Rachel :)
