Summer Learning Journey Week 4 Day 1 Activity 2

Hello bloggers,
William Shakespeare is known to be on the best authors in the world. He has written play, movies, poems and books. For example he has written books call Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, King Lear and much more. Although he wrote these books in English it was not the same English that we use today. He used the old English that was used around the 1600s. So for the activity I was asked to write a recount on what I did in the morning today and use regular English. Then I put my recount in an converter that converts your English to old English. Here is my recount.

At the crack of dawn my eyes adjusted to the sun floating above me. I quickly put on fresh clothes and took a shower. My brain reminded me that I have to do the Summer Learning Journey. I bolted to my Chromebook and started writing this very blog post.

Here is the old English one.

At the cracketh of dawn mine own eyes did adjust to the travelling lamp floating above me.  I apace putteth on green robes and tooketh a showeth'r.  Mine own brain remind'd me yond i has't to doth the summ'r learning journey.  I bolt'd to mine own chromebook and did start writing this v'ry blog posteth

I hope you enjoyed my blog post. If you have any feedback please leave it in the comments. Have you read any of William Shakespeare's books? BYE!!

  2. Hi Vitaraag,
I liked how you described what happened to you in the morning with lots of detail, I also liked how you said that you quickly rushed to your Chromebook because you'd forgotten to do the summer learning journey. Would you want to live in the Shakespearean times?
