Classroom description

Hello bloggers,

We did some writing on our class. We were trying to use different sentence starters use more interesting vocabulary and make sure my writing makes sense. 

Here is my writing

The Teacher's desk is covered with finders books and papers. Whenever the teacher organizes it the next day it’s a mess. Inside the teachers drawer is a heap of materials for learning. Boxes are usually around the desk. Books are scattered in all different boxes under the desk. It is never organized.

The Chromebook cupboard sits on the side of our classroom. Inside it is a load of chargers, chromebooks and chromebook cases. They are all messily placed in the cupboard. For example chargers are hanging from the shelfs cases  are in the wrong place and chromebooks in the wrong place. It’s a disorganized place!

The ceiling has small holes in it which water can’t get through. Rectangle shaped lights hang from the ceiling like power lines. Harris classes artwork is displayed on the ceiling. Fire alarms stare down at you as you look up. The air conditioner sticks to the ceiling like a spider.

Car Boot Sale

Hello bloggers,
Yesterday we had a car boot sale. Parents came to the hall and we performed dances. They were Tongan dances Samoan dance and Bollywood dances. After that we went outside to see what  people were selling. We found a game where you had to drop the counter onto a cup under water and you could only drop it from the top. We also found some cookies on sale juices sausages and mango juice. We spent 11 dollars and we left at the very end of it.

Diwali Comparasion

Today Miss Percy gave us a task of comparing Diwali to another celebration. Harshit and I were buddies and we chose Diwali and Christmas. When we were making our DLO we were trying to use the correct spelling and punctuation, look for information and put it in your own words and use relevant images.

How to turn your teacher into a toad

Today I am going to share some writing about how to turn your teacher into a toad. The things I was trying to achieve were using specific verbs, use different sentence starters and make sure my writing makes sense.

Here is my writing

How to turn your teacher into a toad!

Has your teacher been giving you extra homework well your in for luck!
Today I am going to show you how to turn your teacher into a toad.

You will need:

• Vampire teeth
• 2 Gallons of seawater
• One blade
• One toad
• 5 crocodile teeth
• One human brain
• A cauldron

Method:

1. Take the cauldron and lite it up
2. Pour the seawater in the cauldron
3. Cut the toad into quarters
4. Fling the toad pieces into the cauldron
5. Flick the crocodile teeth into the cauldron
6. Slice the brain in sixths
7. Toss the brain pieces in the cauldron and mix with the blade

Wait for a night and when you will see it’s reflection and it is toad then your potion is ready!
Sneak into class really early in the morning and fill their bottle with the mixture and wait.
When they drink it a gust of smoke will appear then they will turn into a green toad forever!
