Summer Learning Journey Activity 3 Day 4 Week 3

Hello Bloggers,
Clouds are all around in the sky. Sometimes clouds can form into a shape like a house or computer. Clouds come from water. First the sun heats up some water in the world. For example an ocean. After that it turns into water vapor which is an invisible gas. It gets cold enough to turn back into water. Then floats in the air and sticks to dust and those sorts of things and grows bigger and bigger and then all the water vapor sticks together forming a cloud. I am going to describe a cloud that looks like something. I am doing Picture 3.

The cloud is a white mustache. It must have formed in the morning or near that time because it is really bright outside. The mustache is sort of faint. It looks like a fluffy white mustache. I think that the cloud mustache is the hello neighbor mustache. Hello neighbor is a game and your neighbor has a mustache. It is surrounded by weird shaped clouds. I think it is a Stratus cloud.

Thank you for coming to my blog. Please give me feedback. BYE!!

  1. Hi Vitaraag,

It's Leslie here, writing as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. I live in Canada where it's winter time right now, so different from what you're experiencing on your summer break!! We're in the midst of a beautiful sunny day, fortunately. The temperature is about -20 C. so it's pretty chilly out there. But I loved walking my dog, Spirit, this morning as it was bright and I had lots of warm clothes on. Very fun.

I agree with you that the cloud in the middle of the 3rd picture looks like a moustache. When I was a teenager my older brother had a moustache just like that and we called it a 'handlebar moustache'. They're not in fashion now, thank goodness. Can't say that I'm a fan of them. Are you?

You've obviously done some research on clouds and how they form. Good for you!! Do you enjoy science? Perhaps you'll be a meteorologist or climatologist some day, studying weather and climate.

I'm enjoying reading your blog. You're doing a great job of the activities. Keep it up!!

    Cheers,

    Leslie
