I learned how to ride a skateboard.The skateboards that we were using were called penny skateboard.
We had to put on elbow pads,knee pads,wrist guards,closed shoes and helmet.
The skills that we learned were use your right hand as a steering wheel and to put your heel at the right angle.
Then we had to pack up.
To pack it up we took our helmet off and put it on the ground like a bowl.
next you have to take off your wrist guards and strap them together with Velcro.
After that do the same with the elbow pads.
When that is done we take off your knee pads and put one on the ground and put the other on top.
Once we are done put your elbow pads on your knee pads.
Now when we are done we take the long straps and then wrap it around the whole thing.
Finally you check if you did it right by asking Aiden our instructor.

skateboarding! You look very cool in that gear. I did skateboarding too, it was quite tricky, but I could cope with it. Was it easy or hard to put the gear on or skateboard across? Next time could you explain how you felt?
